HOME Pipe Profiling Services P/L is a family owned and run company, operating from Brisbane in Queensland, Australia. We have been providing a high quality, fast turnaround and professional service to steel fabricators across Australia since 1994. Fabricating a pipe truss or spool is a difficult enough job. When you add to this the real costs of preparing the pipe branches, in terms of man power, consumables, time, floor space, mess, noise and material wastage through mistakes or bad nesting, it should not be surprising to learn that many fabricators avoid that type of work. We use computer generated templets that we create in-house or we can use Draftsman generated DXF files to cut any shape in the pipes. Our machine, which is patented in Australia and the U.S.A., can process pipe from 33mm OD to 762mm OD and 12 metres (40') in length. Because we cut using plasma we are not limited to processing carbon steel and are regularly called on to cut stainless steel, aluminium, copper and chrome-moly pipe.
